"I DEVOTED MY SONG TO ALL NEW-YORKERS WHITH LOVE. This song has been inspired by Mr. Foer's novel "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close". It is an expression of my dream about the future happiness and the uniting of all those who has to achieve it through suffering. I would also like to pay tribute to Freddy Mercury and his song "All God's People". Therefore the end of the song is the hymn to New York, the city I love. It is the nature itself and the sounds of the ancient times. The beginning of the song is my idea of Hollywood and the history of the great city named New York. (Katarina Ksenyeva)

This rock ballad "Lullaby for a Man" is authored, composed and performed by Katerina Ksenyeva, an actress and singer. It is devoted to the "Kursk" submarine crew, lost at sea. The song was an absolute top hit at the Maximum Radio Station in February-March, 2007.
"Lullaby for a Man" is based on Russian classical music traditions and English- Saxon melodies. The song has been appreciated by well-known musicians, high professionals, many Russian and foreign listeners who express their gratitude and genuine sympathy.
The Fund Fountain will be supporting the production of a music video for the English version of the song to be shot by an American cameraman. Through some “Buddhist” imagery the idea of the universal man’s soul will be glorified, when the language of nature becomes a visible continuation of life after death. Like, for example, the submarine pressure hull would morph into the body of a huge whale, or a seagull’s beak would freeze in a desperate cry, and the mist over swamps would turn into white phantoms of soldiers vanishing into a grove at night. When the night breeze would lift and carry the dead leaves, like it was in “Forest Gump”, and give a hope that life of those dear and near does not cease when they pass away…
The idea of this music video is humanity beyond the borders, religions and politics.

INSOMNIA

song by Eva Kondrasheva for Katerina Ksenyeva

Branches tremble, a leaf gives a sway...
Someone's roaming the streets in this moment,
Someone's seized by Insomnia's torment,
Someone ran from his dream far away.
And still the dawn above us' laughing insane,
And still the Moon is teasing us from above,
And someone gives us one more year STILL again
And once again the spring infects us with love.
See the light in that room by the roof?
It's the symphonies' crazy creator.
He is burying his dreams in the paper,
While his days are just fading aloof.
And still the dawn above us' laughing insane,
And still the Moon is teasing us from above,
And someone gives us one more year still again
And once again the spring infects us with love.
And not a single word all the night through -
Just anxiety paying a visit:
It will stay for a while till you please it,
And will go to somebody new.
And still the dawn above us' laughing insane,
And still the Moon is teasing us from above,
And someone gives us one more year still again
And once again the spring infects us with love.
So what is it that you've lost this night?
Dreams that would not come back through your curtain?
You will meet someone else - that is certain,
Once again you are too late to die.
And still the dawn above us' laughing insane,
And still the Moon is teasing us from above,
And someone gives us one more year still again
And once again the spring infects us with love.

UN’INSONNIA
1)
2)
C’e la luce all’ultimo piano
